Sizing Guide
As a general guide, our shoes are designed to be worn 1 size below your UK outdoor shoe size, for the majority of dancers.
If you are purchasing for a very young dancer, and are looking at our smallest sizes, we tend to find that they do not like tight shoes, and so purchasing their UK outdoor shoe size (or one size above) will allow them to wear them comfortably.
We would advise customers to ensure that their shoes are a tight fit, but not too tight fit when new, because there will be some stretch in the leather to allow the shoe to mould to the foot. This happens as the shoes warm to the feet.
If the shoe is too loose when purchased then it will become too large and baggy.
It is recommended that your new shoes are worn around the house as 'slippers' to help them mould to your feet,
Our half sizes are the same length of sole as our whole sizes, but with slightly more leather in the upper allowing for a longer or wider foot.
These are the measurements of the whole length of sole (with a slight pull on the leather).
